Sizing
To determine your dog's neck size - take a flexible measuring tape and wrap it snugly around the middle of your dog's neck. You should not be able to easily pull the tape over the dogs ears from the fitted position, but make sure it's loose enough to be comfortable.
Based on your dog's neck measurement, determine the appropriate collar size for your dog.

Webbing
'The Pathfinder' Collection dog collars are made from Biothane and Mil-Spec Nylon Webbing.
Biothane is a material that looks and feels like leather, but actually is a textile product with a special coating, making it virtually indestructible, waterproof and easy to clean. Produced exclusively in the USA.
Buckles
To ensure easy of use, longevity and aesthetics our gear, we use trail tested side release buckles made from Acetal. It's an advanced type of plastic that is more superior than regular plastic. Our buckles are produced by a company who invented and revolutionized the closure industry. They are built to survive the toughest conditions.
As an extra option, we offer AustriAlpin™ Cobra® buckles - the safest and strongest commercially tested buckles in the world. Each unit is machined from the highest grade 7075 Aluminum alloy which is incredibly strong and lightweight. They are the only side release buckles which won't release accidentally by a dog or mechanical error when under load. It has a breaking strength of 1800 kg (4000 lbs) which is way more than any dog can generate. They are widely used in a wide range of military and safety areas, but are now gaining more popularity among dog owners who participate in extreme sports and protection training (IPO).
